I am a student that has recently written a research paper regarding the productivity of nonrenewable vs renewable energy sources. I became interested in the topic a few months ago after watching a movie titled Collapse. It is a very thought provoking documentary on how much our economy depends on the energy supplied by fossil fuels.
After watching the documentary I started doing extensive research, and have found many reliable sources that shed light on the gravity of the situation. While I would like to remain optimistic that humans will be able to develop a sustainable alternative, I cannot help but think how much life is going to change.
